Internet search giant Google is all set to launch its Pixel series smartphones soon. As per previous reports, the Pixel 6 series is set to get two handsets this year — Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 6.
Now, a fresh report about the duo has come to light revealing all the specs that the handsets are likely to include.
5 years of OS updates for Pixel 6
According to the latest information coming in from leakster Jon Prosser, both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be eligible to get software updates for at least 5 years. If this happens to be true, this will be one of the longest time frames that any smartphone brand has committed for regular security updates for their smartphones.
Google Pixel 6 expected specs
According to the tipped information, the small screen sized variant of the upcoming Pixel series will house a 6.-inch AMOLED display. It is claimed to be backed by a 4614mAh battery and run on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Said to be backed by the company’s own custom chipset, the device is said to offer 8GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB internal storage options.
For imaging duties, the Pixel 6 is said to house a 50MP wide angle camera and a 12MP ultra wide angle camera. On the front, there is said to be an 8MP sensor.
Google Pixel 6 Pro expected specs
As for the big screen variant of the Pixel 6, users are likely to get a 6.71-inch Plastic OLED display and be backed by the same custom chipset.
Said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery the Pixel 6 Pro is rumoured to house a triple rear camera of 50MP (Wide) + 48MP (Tele) + 12MP (Ultra wide) and a 12MP camera on the front.
Expected to be running on Android 12 operating system, the Pixel 6 is said to offer 12GB RAM and three internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
