In a tweet, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has announced that the company is set to launch two new products — Realme Beard Trimmer and Realme Hair Dryer — to mark its entry into the personal care category.
“This is another major step towards empowering our customers with cutting-edge technology for a quality lifestyle,” Sheth added in its tweet.

Sheth’s tweet also included a message from the brand that reinforced the perception the brand wants to create in the market.
Meanwhile, the company has updated its website to reveal the names of the devices and their launch date. According to the information on Realme’s website, the company will launch two beard trimmers — Realme Beard Trimmer and Realme Beard Trimmer Plus and one Realme Hair Dryer.

The launch of these three Realme products is set to take place on July 1 at 12.30pm.
Realme Beard Trimmer: What we know so far
This trimmer from Realme features a 10mm comb and 20 length settings with a claimed precision of 0.5mm. It has a 120 minutes claimed runtime and is backed by an 800mAh battery. It is said to offer low-noise operation with noise levels less than 68dB.
Realme Beard Trimmer Plus: What we know so far
This trimmer comes with 40 different length settings and is IPX7 rated making it water resistant.
Realme Hair Dryer: What we know so far
This device from Realme a claimed wind speed of 13. 8m per second. It is said to come with advanced negative ions technology and said to maintain temperature under 55 degree Celsius.
Realme vs Xiaomi: Yet again
Realme’s arch rival Xiaomi already sells beard trimmers in the country. The company has two models Mi Beard Trimmer 1C Black and Mi Beard Trimmer, currently priced at Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,499 respectively.
When it comes to hair dryers, Xiaomi hasn’t yet launched its offering in the country, but it does sell in its home country China. The product is called Mi Ionic Hairdryer and it is possible that Xiaomi may plan to launch it in India too.
