WhatsApp Global Voice Notes Player will be rolling out to the broader Android and iOS community.
WhatsApp has been gaining new features at breakneck speed lately. As rumored earlier, the Global Voice Notes Player is available on WhatsApp now. At least it is being rolled out to the larger audience from the iOS and Android side of the smartphone world. A recent announcement from the WhatsApp Twitter handle reveals that you can now “Pause while recording and listen while responding to other chats:

Pause while recording – take your time when you think in Hindi but speak in English
Listen while responding to other chats because when Mom needs an answer, you answer!

New WhatsApp Voice Message Features
WhatsApp points down the following new options to enhance your experience while voice chatting with others:
- Out of Chat Playback: You can play the voice messages outside the chat, on the WhatsApp home screen, and while messaging others. You’ll see a Global Voice Notes Player with the control banner on the top.
- Pause/Resume Recording: You can pause and resume a recording whenever you feel like it. It could be for thinking clearly about what you want to convey.
- Draft Preview: Before hitting the send button, you can save the voice messages in the draft and listen to them later to ensure they are ready to be sent.
- Waveform Visualization: While you are listening, the new visual waveform representation helps you follow the recording.
- Remember Playback: Even if you forgot to note where you left listening previously, you need not worry as WhatsApp remembers it for you, and the next time, it picks up from where you left off.
- Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages: Also, if you are in a hurry or for any reason want to speed up the playback, you can run the voice messages at 1.5x or 2x speeds. This is available on both regular or forwarded voice notes.
All these new WhatsApp Voice Message Features would be released to the users in the coming users.

Showing emotion or excitement through voice is more natural than text, and in many situations, voice messages are the preferred form of communication on WhatsApp. It’s simple for anyone to use – for your family members who prefer to avoid typing, for your friends who love to tell stories, for your peers who need encouraging words, or for when you want to hear your partner’s voice at the end of a long day.”
WhatsApp also boasts every day its users sent 7 billion voice messages on the messaging platform.
