Keeping its past few years’ Valentine’s Day tradition, Reliance Jio posted a ‘romantic message’ for its arch rival Airtel. Just that this time the telecom company’s Valentine’s Day message was not exactly for Airtel, but for the telecom service provider’s customers. Reliance Jio tagged users of Airtel India’s users.
Dear Airtel India users
“Dear @airtelindia users, This Valentine’s, don’t ignore the ‘RED’ flags 🚩 in your relationship. It’s time to move on from your ‘Ex’-stream. Here’s my number 📞60008-60008. Call me maybe. 😉 #HappyValentinesDay #WithLoveFromJio 💙, ” posted Reliance Jio from its official account on X, formerly Twitter. The message also has Reliance Jio’s customer service number that is, no guesses here, meant for Airtel users to call or get in touch with the Jio’s executives.
For those unaware, Airtel Xstream is Airtel’s service that comprises broadband fiber connection, ‘fixed wireless broadband access service AirFiber as well as OTT channels bouquet that comes with the company’s plans.
‘Sab kuch try karo, phir sahi chuno’
Responding to Reliance Jio’s post, Airtel posted a picture with the caption “Just saying!” and hashtag “#WithLoveFromAirtel”. The picture has Airte’s brand ambassador with words: “Sab kuch try karo, phir sahi chuno,” written on top.
Airtel followed it with another post saying, “Living rent free in our consumer’s ❤️ and competitor’s 🧠 #HappyValentinesDay.” The post is accompanied by an image that has customer testimonials about its Broadband service, Xstream with the caption: “Thanking all the green flags we saw today!”
The messages in the GIF image shared by Airtel has customers praising its broadband service in terms of speed, connectivity and more.
